Suggestions to days out for the family:
There are plenty of activities in the area for the children
if they tire of swimming in the pool and playing table tennis
or boules in the garden.
In Antibes (10 minutes drive) there is a big water park and
Marineland next door to each other. You can take one of the
many boats from Cannes old harbour sailing to the Lerin Islands
(visible from the villa), where you can enjoy lunch (remember
to book a table) and swim in the crystal clear sea. Boats
also sail to St. Tropez from Cannes - more relaxing than driving.
There is a motor museum not far from the house and in nearby
Vallauris you can shop for pottery made locally. Grasse, famous
for its perfume, is 15 minutes drive away and many of the
perfumeries welcome visitors on specific times of the day.

Suggestions for Eating Out:
Eating out on the Cote d'Azur is pure pleasure and one is
completely spoilt for choice. Once you have explored Cannes
(don't miss the small street, Le Souquet, opposite the old
port, which has a superb selection of very reasonably prices
restaurants), then you could drive to the mountain town of
Mougins (15 minutes) and study the many restaurants and menus
available in this charming and trendy town. Try the Restaurant
Des Arts' 3 course menu of the day - tremendous value, or
for a more sophisticated meal the Feu Follet is popular with
the locals.
In Charming Vabonne, where you will also find one of the most
well stocked vegetable and delicatessen shops on the coast,
there is a lively town square with an extensive offering of
well priced restaurants.
If you are looking for Michelin starred restaurants, you don't
have to drive far. Try the Bastide de St. Antoine in Grasse,
the Oasis in La Napoule or the Villa des Lys in the Hotel
Majestic Barriere, Cannes. For a stunning drive in the countyside
combined with a tremendously good lunch, try L'Auberge de
Courmes situated in Courmes in the Gorges du Loup valley,
difficult to find but well worth the effort.
